Workshop drainage – Part 1

With the weather becoming more unpredictable and extreme these days I need to provide some drainage across the front of my workshop. I call it Al’s Workshop but it’s simply a Colorbond steel garage with four skylights, two back windows, side entry door and front roller door.

I need to install a drain across the front and down the right side…. as far as I can.

Chook shed heater

With the really cold weather Speckles is spending nights in the entry foyer.

She is waiting for me when I wake up and follows me like a dog when I go out to unlock the front gates then down to open the workshop and also to let her into the chook run where she spends some time in the run and chook shed – until I go later and let her out.

Chook shed heater auto temp controller

Chook shed heater with the new auto temperature controller-

This is working well, it’s going to be cold overnight like 3°. Here are the inside/outside temps as @ 11.45pm. The controller is set for 11°. The 2nd wireless remote sensor is sitting on a bail of hay outside the chook shed – in the run.
