Fan cat scarer

This is a quick temporary solution to deter prowling cats. The actual Cat Scarer is back in the workshop waiting for a smaller motor to be delivered because the present motor is from a hand vac cleaner is a over kill and (even with short duty cycle) draws too much from the AGM 12V / 3.7A battery.

I have ordered a smaller motor.

Google TV Streamer

I have been using Amazon hardware for a while now; Firesticks, Echo Show and lately the Cube. The Amazon devices are great for streaming and even doing the home automation thing with Alexa but.. Google prevents the Fire Cube accessing PlayStore!

For example I purchased FX File Explorer which is not available on the (useless) Amazon app store, side loading gets you nowhere because I can’t upgrade to the paid version and the same for other purchased apps so that’s the main reason I am purchasing the Google TV Streamer to replace the Fire Cube in the lounge. Fortunately all the devices I have purchased are both Amazon and Google compatible.

Wi-Fi Chook Shed Light

Been meaning to do this for a while and because of Rosie’s weird going-to-bed behavior of late we moved it to the top of the job list. For some reason instead of going up the ramp to the roost she’s hanging around on the floor and going into a corner under the nesting box table?

Amazon Echo Show 8 – Part 2

Setup Amazon Music… Eagles are one of my favs.

 

 

I already had Amazon Prime Video on my Samsung J7 Pro phone. To continue this initial setup I now have another Amazon apps installed, Alexa and Amazon Photos. The Echo Show has good sound quality! From the specs ‘2.0” neodymium speakers with passive bass radiator’ and it works the desktop vibrates!
