Eye surgery recovery is going well and I am now up and about doing light duties and the chooks are happy to have me out in the yard again. Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning the birdbath as well as some minor repairs.
Lots of weeds so removed everything and got to work with the weeding tool and this time using a old BBQ plate to provide a solid base where previously the bath base just sat on the dirt and I used pieces of plywood for getting thins level.
The birdbath is close to the workshop so decided to do away with the car battery and bring all the electrics inside and run from a 12V power supply. Loosing light and then had a double injury to the right wrist so we’ll have to come back in the morning – that’s fine.
