The thought come to mind to give it the ‘ultimate test’ so to speak – cut some wood gears.

Earlier in the year I made a jigsaw table and after some test cutting was surprised how well it worked in particular cutting – wood gear wheels.

The original blade guide assembly did the job but looked a bit ugly so here is Version 2.0 with integrated height adjustment!

Continuing on from the last session we have the jigsaw mounted upside down in the box with the blade poking out the top. Now we need some sort of blade guide support arm that will minimize the blade flexing, in particular on curved cuts.

Went looking for ideas through all the hardware stuff and paused with a Double Roller Catch in the palm of my hand…thinking.
