Due to a lack of sunlight I have been powering the bird feeder with a 240V extension which I bring in under cover each night.
Decided it’s time once again to power the feeder with the solar panel setup.

Still visiting Meadowbrook Mansion, very punctual morning and afternoon.
Interesting that his colour has changed to a misty blue!
Bluey has settled into a regular visiting routine-
One morning and one afternoon visit. He does well to hold his own against all the competition but regardless of that ET has instructed me to stand on guard… while he eats and drinks (Crikey).
Anticipating his afternoon visit I moved the stand feeder down onto the driveway close to the balcony feeders. As posted a few weeks ago I made a 2 bowl platform feeder that’s positioned below the balcony window.
Hanging from that is the traditional hanging feeder. The latter has not been used in the front yard since the Xmas tree was removed (no branches).
He’s here… I’ve been lying in wait for him, hiding but not to attack.
I am planning to make him a shelter box which hopefully will become a nesting box.
ET is delighted that Bluey is still around-
He flies in morning and afternoon and after perching on the overhead NBN cable, directly above the bird feeder, announces his presence with loud chirping. It’s my job to go down and add seed to the empty tray – a bit of a PIA. I’m working on a Bluey auto feeder. more to come.
