This is Dusty

This is Dusty (Spritely 36) and she belongs to our younger daughter and… they have been together for 25 years!
Dusty has Cushing’s Disease which results in a excessively long and curly coat – woolly bear. She needs lots of hair cuts :-) and extra rugging during the winter months.
She also has Laminitis and has to be confined (her own space) and attended to every day – twice a day!

Mr. Woody sad news

Mr. Woody sad news-
Do horses also cross that rainbow bridge?
Anyway he and Alan Robinson are together again.
These photos circa 1998 when we agisted our horses with Alan at Wood Furlong That name was not well known and rarely used. I have photos (somewhere) of eight pine trees planted in a row exactly one furlong long. I suspect there is a relationship between Mr. Woody and Wood Furlong :-)

Dusty – farrier appointment

Had to go out today past Pakenham to Nar Nar Goon to pick up our younger daughter Natalie who’s car is in for service and then back to Cranbourne for a farrier appointment. This gave us the opportunity to see our girl Dusty again, and ET to give her hugs and kisses. Then return trip to Gooney to drop off the kid and finally on the way home again.

Boralea Park Agistment is closing down !!!

How fortunate is that !!! we left Boralea exactly 2 weeks ago and today just got word on the grapevine that it is closing down – end of June

Looks like we might go back there to help pull down a shed so I’ll take some final photos in particular Dusty’s shed, our dairy storage room and of course her corral area where she spent the last 11 years.
