How fortunate is that !!! we left Boralea exactly 2 weeks ago and today just got word on the grapevine that it is closing down – end of June
Looks like we might go back there to help pull down a shed so I’ll take some final photos in particular Dusty’s shed, our dairy storage room and of course her corral area where she spent the last 11 years.
Just back from walkies, trying to adapt to a different routine now that we don’t have to tend to horses – feels strange.
Looks like all my tools will sit here (in the way) on the floor for the rest of the week till next weekend. Nar Nar Goon cat run project was cancelled yesterday because of – good weather – the girls want to go to the beach.
By the time we got there, measured up, made a shopping list and got what we needed at Bunnings and Masters it was 2.00pm when we got back to the house – never mind. We had to be gone around 4.30pm because the occupants we going out so that left about two and a half hours…but still managed to make a fair start with lengths of 70 x 35mm timber between house fascia and the fence. Not to worry we’ll pick up pace tomorrow.
Time flies – one week gone by already since Dusty went to her new home in Pakenham! Just arranged to do the Village Green tonight with my sister and it feels strange being able to go out and not have to tend to Dusty on the way!

Dogs started barking early this morning around 4.00 am, no sound of windows glass being broken so went back to sleep. Viewing playback on the CCTV-DVR system this morning I located and identified what it was – a cat.
ET’s right arm has gone to sleep as well.
Just got back from the vet and all good smile emoticon She had her monthly arthritis jab and vet again pleased to see her so active and alert since her cruciate ligament op last year. Little does he know she can also be quite inactive.
