Workshop drainage – Part 10

Weather cleared nicely; was able to go out and do some more like back fill the drain with soil and back fill the top end of the PVC pipe with gravel.

I used that same thin piece of plywood as a dirt guard when filling and tamping down the soil.

Sitting on my little Pixie stool there were no complaints from my back as I worked my way along to the corner grate.

PVC pipe this side of the big concrete paver is back filled – yay

A bit more tidy-up cementing to finish this corner.

Stopped back filling here because…

… we have some more to do here.

Had to remove the fence star picket that was screwed to that corner pine post to run the PVC pipe.

Planning to use a 1/2 round pine pole that will be screwed to the chook run corner timbers with some concrete at the bottom.

Will end up looking like this.

I’ll be back…
