Looks like a faulty motion sensor.
Last night I noticed the front lights had come on…and stayed on?
Went out to try resetting the sensor but that was no-go so we have another job to add to the list.
This was a 2015 project – the sensor is secured to the top of a upside down plastic Jiffy project box.
I have a replacement (used) sensor. Disconnect the wires from the sensor terminal block and remove the sensor.
Wire in the replacement sensor.
Mount the box back onto the brickwork.
Mount the box back onto the brickwork.
Replace the box lid and tuck the rest inside so we can push the sensor up onto the base and put in the two screws.
I tested the unit by covering the PIR to trigger sensor and it’s working OK but..we need check again tonight.
