While the MDF silhouette templates are drying we can carry on with the internal frame.
In the last session we glued the pine strips around the MDF picture frame back, flush to the edges.

Went out to close up the workshop, put the bins out and collect Speckles to put her in the laundry – another cold night.
Making a start by doing some prep work – glossy A4 background print, silhouette template prints and a black photo frame.

Midway through last winter I found it too cold (even with some heating) in the workshop (Al’s Workshop) so I effectively closed the shop by hibernating all my Marketplace adverts with the intention to open again in Spring. Well…that came and went, so did Summer then Autumn and now it’s Winter again. What happened?
For those enquiries that came in directly I did take some orders and now we have another request from a Facebook friend – Toy Poodle & Jack Russell silhouette night light.
I do all my designs and mock-ups (like the above picture) in Microsoft Word; send the mock-up to the customer, discuss and edit if needed and then agree on a final design.
There are lighting options, this one will have a day/night motion sensor controller for the LED silhouette back lighting.

For some months now our Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 510 (23) i7/16GB desktop has been annoying me with a noisy fan.
Even when idle the fan revs will increase and decrease in a cyclic manner.
Removed the back and gave it a clean out; not much in the way of dust clogging things so this will not fix the noisy fan problem. I suspect it’s software…not hardware.
Weather OK today so mustered the effort to get the backyard mowing done so it’s easier to see (search & collect) the poo bombs!
