We have some activity!
ET observed a ringtail dropping down from the lines into the border shrubs so I went out to setup the V380 camera on the front porch and caught this – promising :-)

Prowling cat
Houston we have a problem!
Not one but two cats prowling our property in all hours of the morning. Even worse one of them was stalking Speckles – yesterday afternoon!
2023 Xmas leg ham is consumed
With that done it’s time for the annual cut-the-bone-in-half for freezer storage and later on we get to enjoy ET’s delicious Pee & Ham soup – yum.
Oops… I stuffed up the recording, thought I was recording went to stop it but that actually started the recording.

I made the possum dray in May 2022.
Left in front porch waiting for opportunity to put it out.
Waited 4 months (Sept) for possums to leave their dray.
Yay… hung my dray near the empty one.
Jan 2023 still waiting and disappointed.
General possum activity has declined!
Previous to this we had possum families every year.

No hurry for that but… was quickly moved to the top of the list after the houligan shredded the main bedroom curtains!

Anyway he and Alan Robinson are together again.
These photos circa 1998 when we agisted our horses with Alan at Wood Furlong That name was not well known and rarely used. I have photos (somewhere) of eight pine trees planted in a row exactly one furlong long. I suspect there is a relationship between Mr. Woody and Wood Furlong :-)
