One of the kids checking if mum is on the way back from shopping. As she comes down the lower cable (NBN) and gets closer (see previous posts) to the drey two little pairs of eyes will start dancing around – with excitement.

Possum update – we have a nesting ringtail family in our front yard!

Ringtail possums usually build a nest of twigs and leaves, called a drey, several metres above the ground. They rarely enter house roofs.
The above is spot on; they are in border shrub near the front gates.
