ALDI – Clothes dryer purchase
Off early to ALDI this morning to buy a clothes dryer for the younger kid and her partner.

Finally completed the job, we need to give it a cat test run 
Loz inside and Nat outside trying to coax Toro out onto the ramp – with treats.

Another afternoon session where we got off to a good start laying down wire mesh on the main run but then bogged down a bit on the annex section plus Loz had to make two trips to Masters and get more stuff. C’mon lads push on….

Away we go most of the basic framing is done including a – gable annex. Next visit we’ll cut in the battens and start laying down the wire mesh. Will also need to build a gate for the annex.
Cat run postponed…
Looks like all my tools will sit here (in the way) on the floor for the rest of the week till next weekend. Nar Nar Goon cat run project was cancelled yesterday because of – good weather – the girls want to go to the beach.

By the time we got there, measured up, made a shopping list and got what we needed at Bunnings and Masters it was 2.00pm when we got back to the house – never mind. We had to be gone around 4.30pm because the occupants we going out so that left about two and a half hours…but still managed to make a fair start with lengths of 70 x 35mm timber between house fascia and the fence. Not to worry we’ll pick up pace tomorrow.
Cat run project
With time on our hands now off to Nar Nar Goon on Sunday to start building a cat run for the girls (Loz and Nat).
We need to cover in up to the front fence…
…and extend out past the back corner in the form of a annex.
They are a bit worried because the house contains asbestos so in MS Word 2007 sketched out a diagram to put them at ease, we will stay from the nasty stuff.
Canine visitor to Meadowbrook Mansion
Her name is Berry and she belongs to our older daughter’s partner – so sweet.

Decided on a three course this evening, for entree chicken satay (3 sticks), beef rendang with coconut rice and banana fritters – nice. Also got a take away of lamb briyani rice.
