Al’s Kitchen – Mince Curry

Curry Puffs without the puff pastry to have on toast, bread buns or in the Jaffal maker.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the diced onions and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Add the curry powder and briskly stir and cook until fragrant.
Add ground beef, breaking up to fine mince as it cooks for about 3 minutes.

Add the cubed potatoes and salt to taste.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes until the potatoes are cooked through.

 

 

 

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, diced
2 tablespoons curry powder
10.7 ounces (300 grams) ground beef
1 large potato, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
For Assembling:
2 sheets frozen puff pastry
1 large egg
