Task bar network icon now has a Wi-Fi dropdown box which is good but even better for me is the Mobile hotspot – to easily connect to my Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro during power outages.

Bunnings shopping trip
Wanted to spend my 70th birthday Bunnings gift cards (pooled) on a Ozito Multi Purpose Saw and also get a 30cm wooden barrel to repair the Bamboo Water Spout feature in the gazebo area.

Unplanned purchase – this is the BBQ Pizza Oven Box we bought from Bunnings today. They had a staff person giving cooking demonstrations and ET managed to sample TWO slices of pizza ![]()
Garden gazebo water barrel feature
Made this some years ago when I had a bamboo fad for making water features.
It’s a classic bamboo water spout powered by a water pump that sits inside a modified plastic tub all of which then sits in a decorative wooden barrel with some water plants.
Here is a video clip of the water feature in the front porch, later on I moved it to the back yard gazebo area.

Windows 10 Creators Update – Win+X ???
After updating this morning and getting familiar with WCU 1709 through the day, inevitably I have come across a change I don’t like – but not a big deal.
Microsoft has removed the traditional Control Panel from the Win+X menu, that’s the one you see when you right click the Start button from the desktop – bugger. Anyway I just searched for it and pinned to the Start. Continue reading “Windows 10 Creators Update – Win+X ???”
