Recently had two floodings and I won’t elaborate on that, enough to say I bought two of these.
Requires 2.4G wi-fi and a configured Tuya hub on the network.
Before starting install change phone wi-fi from 5G to 2.4G
To pair the sensor press the pairing button (press hard) for about 5 seconds until it starts flashing and then follow the instructions to add the device in the SmartLife app.
Tap on Water Leak Sensor.
I triggered the sensor to show this screen
Note how the app keeps a record (or history) of the events.
