I was really peeved a few years ago to hear that as part of the NBN agreement Telstra would not be able to use its HFC cable network to deliver (BigPond) Internet services – only Foxtel.
Really…I don’t want ANOTHER cable coming in when I am very happy with what we have considering Telstra offered and sent out a free DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem! Hopefully we stay as we are and DOCSIS 3.1 is just a firmware thing – happy with that.
