For a while now the saw has had chain lubrication issues with a screeching noise when it comes to a stop after a cut.
This is the oil tank and… on the other side is the oil pump located next to the motor in the motor housing.
We have a problem!
No wonder the oil was leaking, the pump is delivering oil directly into the motor housing!
At this point I’m going to call it quits because it’s to difficult to remove the motor to access the pump and reconnect (after trimming) the oil tube.
