Free range eggs – dodgy companies

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) took Derodi Pty Ltd and Holland Farms Pty Ltd to court, claiming it had falsely labelled eggs as free range from January 2012 to December 2014.

The two companies trade together as the entity Free Range Egg Farms, and sold eggs under the labels Ecoeggs, and Port Stephens and Field Fresh free range eggs.

We have Presto again

We have Presto again – last year we had it for 6 months free but it was pretty ho-hum so pulled out in the last month.

PRESTO-500x291

T-box channel 911 is promoting the 6 month free trial again so tried to take up the offer (again) but the promo code was rejected – fair enough.

Anyway…ET getting pretty sick of FTA rubbish so signed up using her e-mail to get the one month free trial. Already setup T-box’s in lounge and balcony – and Lenovo 10″ tablet.

Oh…and another slot reserved for one of the kids.

Dell Ultrasharp 1702FP 17" LCD monitor

No picture and LED’s flashing like fairy lights

When I was doing the Dell GX270 memory upgrade went off looking for one of my spare monitors and grabbed the above which was working fine last time I used it but that’s a few years ago now. After connecting the external 12V/3A power supply turned on at the power point and the three front panel LED’s came on like fairy lights – not good.

10

Early 2000 but still a nice monitor…even has DVI !!!

Samsung Galaxy Note factory reset – continued

From my previous post decided to do a factory reset, running out of storage and went through all the usual stuff like *#9900# to clear the log/cat files etc which previously worked well – but not this time – and I don’t want to root the thing to get to other stuff like lost/found. Did a Kies restore which went well and then off to Play Store to see (and this time short list) what apps I want back on the phone. We are done with the rebuild and now have 830MB free storage
