With the $40 refund money from the previous Solar Magic Post Light off to Bunnings to buy the latest offering, or replacement – for $25. As usual went to pull the batteries out to charge them so we could use the light for the first nightaway. Strange…there’s only one battery ??? Pulled it out to discover it’s a Li-ion 14500, 3.2V @ 600mA. Oh well…back to sun light, I’ll have to research buying a charger.
Mulling over getting a new i7 tower to replace the Balcony PC which is a Scorptec E5200/G31M-SL2/4GB/GT210 about 8 years old. Meanwhile…we could jazz up the current one so ordered a Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8 GHz 3 MB Cache 1066 MHz FSB LGA 775 CPU Processor from a NSW eBay guy for $8.90. If this works out I’ll get a 120/250GB SSD and maybe do another CPU upgrade.
This is a Scorptec box about 7 years old with a E5200 and G31M-S2L motherboard. Purchased a E7400 off eBay for $8.90 free post from NSW – happy with that.
