After some camera issues and warranty replacements the system has settled down and operating as expected.

GARMIN – Smartphone Link
As posted earlier bought a GARMIN GPS off the older daughter. Browsing the Garmin website came across the Smartphone Link app (interesting) so installed it on my Samsung GT-N7000 Note.
GSL has many features but I’m mainly interested in sending (over Bluetooth) phone contact addresses to the GPS so I don’t have to enter them into the unit itself. The other interesting feature is using the unit for hands free phone operation.
