Meanwhile from the second round of orders one customer happy to switch from Battery to the USB version I found at Kmart…but they have sold out !!!. Found a local (truly local) eBay supplier located in Glen Iris, ordered 2 x USB RGB LED strip light kits on Monday…here today yay. Can now start this job for 2 x Batman lights (y)

With all the doom and gloom around nice to have my own ‘isolated’ good day. Finished another Batman light and…had a postie visit who delivered 2 x USB RGB LED strip light kits for a waiting Batman pair (mum was OK to switch from battery to USB). All that somewhat tempered by the fact that I am still waiting for delivery of the main order for 4 x RGB LED strip light kits (battery). Oh well at least I’m still making progress – for now.

The ALDI Workzone scroll saw is turning out to be one of the most useful tools in the shop. It has a neat built-in work light but it’s not that bright and with ageing eyesight I’ve decided to add another work light plus a special one under the table for blade changes.

With regard to the UK Batman order just checked postage to UK and it’s under $30, not bad considering I’ve been posting Batman to country folks happy to pay the $20 for postage.
So…with agreement about the current state of affairs I’ll take her order shipped without batteries and need to check if Bunnings MDF timber will pass through customs etc….LOL
