Raining outside so we’ll potter in the shed today. Made some improvements to the dust extractor for the planer thicknesser machine and then did some computer stuff.

Modified a pipe clamp for the output end and used some double-sided foam tape (only one side peeled off) for a neater more leak proof connection. The angle is now easily adjusted.

Saying goodbye to Windows 7
As posted upgraded the HP Pro i3/6GB from Win10 Home 32 bit to Win10 Pro 64 bit. Impressed how fast the thing is…(y)

Today we upgraded the workshop PC (Q6600 with 4GB) from Win7/32 to Win10 Pro 64 Bit and that also is running nicely.

Next in line is my study PC, also a Q6600 with 4GB.

Also want to do my Toshiba i5 laptop but that requires some careful research.

Desktop PC camera photos backup

Besides the normal Windows backup stuff I like to manually backup the Camera Photos directory to the external Seagate Expansion Drive attached to the Lenovo AIO desktop. Have not done so since about October last year – pretty slack.
