Telstra offering Presto on T-Box
As a Telstra T-Box/Foxtel subscriber this is welcome news!
Today, Foxtel and Telstra have announced that Presto will be free for both new and existing T-Box customers. It will also be unmetered for both Telstra and Foxtel broadband customers.

Running out so just tacked on some more. Been using the phone s lot more connecting over the net to the CCTV/DVR at home. Over the last 3 days chewed up about 100mb of 200mb allowance on my Vodafone $20 SIM so just added 1GB for $10 bucks – not bad.

Telstra T-Box – FTA Internet Usage
Telstra T-Box – FTA Internet Usage –
I posted a few weeks ago that we have changed to a lower cost Telstra bundle – Home phone + 200GB + T-Box + Foxtel Basic. I was quite surprised at the quality and performance of the Foxtel channels over the Internet. The BigPond and Foxtel channels are unmetered which is good, the FTA channels are not. I wonder how much usage the FTA channels consume?
The blue is normal internet plus FTA usage plus a bit of other stuff like Picasa, YouTube etc. The yellow is unmetered usage, BigPond channels and Fostel.
We get 200GB/mth and have used about 8.5GB over the last two weeks – relax.
Cable internet down
Cable internet down last night around midnight, we are on Telstra BigPond and the Netgear CGD24N was obviously not establishing a connection with Send flashing and the Receive light off. We also have Foxtel (from Telstra) which uses the same cable and that was working normally which usually means there is no physical cable fault and the problem is within the BigPond network – which is good.
