Happy too see that the Bailey & Zia are using the new Foyer cat tower, in particular for observing front yard bird & chook activity.

Wi-Fi Chicken Door – Part 1
With regard to the morning egg laying ritual I am going to build a Wi-Fi enabled chook door opener, not the coop door but another automated door integrated into the chook run gate! so I can remotely let the girls (at separate times) access/exit the hen house – phew. Why… daylight saving has stuffed up my morning routine!
I am now letting the girls out about one hour before their egg laying time so I have to closely watch them on the cameras and gout out to let them in. Same again to let them out!

Our parcel collection notifications are going digital for MyPost customers
Hi Alan,
From 5 October, we’ll send digital notifications* to advise of an attempted delivery, instead of leaving a paper card.
These notifications will let you know that we tried to deliver and the reason why it couldn’t be completed, and when your parcel is ready for collection at the post office or a nearby collection point. These will be sent via email, SMS or through the AusPost app. If you use the app, you’ll also get a one-off QR code specific to that parcel.
Simply show the notification, the QR code (for app users) and suitable ID at the Post Office to collect your parcel. Your parcel will still be kept at the Post Office for 10 business days for you to collect, and we’ll send you a reminder on day 5 if your parcel hasn’t been collected.
Don’t worry if your family or friends aren’t MyPost customers, they’ll still get a paper card.
Amazon Echo Show 8 – Part 2
Setup Amazon Music… Eagles are one of my favs.
I already had Amazon Prime Video on my Samsung J7 Pro phone. To continue this initial setup I now have another Amazon apps installed, Alexa and Amazon Photos. The Echo Show has good sound quality! From the specs ‘2.0” neodymium speakers with passive bass radiator’ and it works the desktop vibrates!
