When I buried Holly last week (sob) I forgot to peg the four corners so I know later on, when the earth has settled, where to locate the proper timber frame border.
I also cut some fence palings to close in the sides.
While waiting for the earth to settle over the next few weeks I’ll make a proper timber frame border that will slide over that with some ready-mix concrete on the corners. Then later remove the temporary frame.
The family wants to have a nice flowering plant in the middle so I will likely fill with mulch or wood bark.
On the fence will be her name plaque. This cutting template was printed on my Canon A3 printer; so it’s a good size. The letters/numbers cut out on the scroll saw and mounted in a shallow box with LED back lighting. The bottom of the box will have LED strip lighting to illuminate her grave area. Still thinking…we might make changes along the way.
