Possum update – we have a nesting ringtail family in our front yard!

Ringtail possums usually build a nest of twigs and leaves, called a drey, several metres above the ground. They rarely enter house roofs.
The above is spot on; they are in border shrub near the front gates.

‘Most possums are solitary animals, except when raising their young, but ringtail possums tend to live in family groups of three or more.’
Assuming the above we have a ringtail family with dad, mum and two kids.
Possum Cam – Lately our power line that comes in from across the street is like the M1 freeway. I setup the Bird Cam to monitor the nocturnal activities. The V380 camera is set for motion record.
Checkout this video clip of mum returning from a shopping trip (amazing) and then dropping down into one of the front fence border shrubs where there are two kids waiting! Only one pair of little eyes visible in this clip.
Holly – getting up off hard floor is a bugger.
Off to buy another one of these for her favourite lying down spot along the wall in the entrance foyer.
After an off day yesterday, which happened to coincide with her vet visit, she is back on deck (y)
Holly to Boronia Vet this afternoon for her monthly check-up.
Over the last month she has been good with the renal diet sorted out and usually good poos (lovely). Had her usual Pentosan injection (wouldn’t mind some of that myself) and prescribed some more Prednisolone and Lisinopril tablets. Still wants to hop on the bed every morning (with some assistance) to guard her property and barks/growls at anything that moves in the street – along with Pixie the mini-pin.
Continuing on from yesterday and after a morning coffee we’re out in Al’s Workshop now to try and make a piggy back terminal joiner – single female to double make.
Can’t buy this locally so we have to male one.

Vulcan Everhot ‘Sahara’ Fan forced Electric wall oven – oven not working.
Off to a mates place today to hopefully repair the above; the actual oven is not working (element OK) but other stuff like the griller works OK.
It’s likely that the controller module on the right is faulty, can we bypass that?
The first problem is that the control panel will not fold down enough to allow access to the back!
