During construction of the bandsaw (and other stuff around the workshop) I had need to cut small parts, to small and to dangerous for the big 12″ sliding mitre saw, so I just made a small crosscut sled for the table saw.

The base and tracks are laminate flooring with front & back from pine.

I need to make a blade guard for the front of the sled and also limit how far it can be pushed forward.

I was going to make the guard from this pine offcut but decided to use a larger bit of pine.

Found a bit of pine for the blade guard and note the two laminate strips at the end of the tracks to limit forward travel.
