Off early this morning to get one of these.
Had a play with it and still not sure if I will keep or return ???
Basically this is a nice drill that ticks most of the box’s but…
The drill chuck is plastic, it spins freely but has little mass; not much metal in there how long will it last?
The mechanical gearbox selector tends to jam.
The LED work light is virtually useless as it’s impossible to shed any light on what you want to see – like screw head!
Most annoying is that the drill is front heavy and topples over to easily when put down due to the small footprint of the 24v battery – broken drill bits.
This drill should come with at least a 2.0Ah battery.
UPDATE: Latest Masters catalogue has the Worx 20v brushless hammer drill with 2 batteries for $99 so bought one this morning (Tue 28 Jun). Will compare the two and decide which one – stay tuned.
UPDATE: Returned the WorkZone drill, besides most of the above not being able to get a spare battery is not acceptable. And…bought another drill ! – Ozito from Bunnings.
