Arrived home from horses and went to check on Violet and Speckles, the others are in the run but no sign of the little ones!
Checked the main shed and two little Pekins on the perch – so cute.
They seem to be quite clever for their age – about 14 weeks. We might start letting them out into the garden next week. Before this though I need to check all the fences for any exit points.
She was shivering a bit so ET put on her “sports coat”.
Although I have had a good quality vernier caliper for many years decided to get one as the eyes even with close-up glasses have trouble with the smaller graduations. Works quite well so no complaints. Has on and off buttons of course but you don’t need to actually turn it on, as soon as you open the jaws she turns on.

Purchased two young Bantams Pekins from Derloch Kennels in Montrose.
They are Collie Rough breeders and also do Pekin Bantams.
One of them is white with black freckles and the other is blue
ET thinks suitable names might be Freckles or Spotty and Smokey or Bluey .
No doubt the kids will have a say…
