Made the frame that sits inside the back of the picture frame and cut out the doggie pattern on the scroll saw. Prepared a 3mm MDF blank from scrap for for the pattern.

Silhouette night lights – some ideas.
Why not use a store bought frame ? Rather than making my own base board for these projects why not buy some picture frames! A4 wooden ones cost around $10 bucks.

Samoyed night light – part 9
Hot glued the LED’s and stained the stand. A dab of glue on the four standoff’s will fix the doggie to the base board.

Samoyed night light – part 7 mock-up video
The controller is set to Dusk mode, only works at night (semi-dark to dark) and turns ON when the front mounted PIR (sensor) is triggered by movement. There is also a Day mode where you manually turn ON/OFF – anytime.
