Silhouette night lights – some ideas.
Why not use a store bought frame ? Rather than making my own base board for these projects why not buy some picture frames! A4 wooden ones cost around $10 bucks.

Samoyed night light – part 9
Hot glued the LED’s and stained the stand. A dab of glue on the four standoff’s will fix the doggie to the base board.

Samoyed night light – part 7 mock-up video
The controller is set to Dusk mode, only works at night (semi-dark to dark) and turns ON when the front mounted PIR (sensor) is triggered by movement. There is also a Day mode where you manually turn ON/OFF – anytime.

Silhouette night lights – some thoughts
Thinking about wiring a DC plug onto a ‘normal’ string of white LED’s and plug that into the controller, then do another light test. Laying out and positioning LED strip in a wandering pattern is painful and messy.

For this session sprayed the doggie black and did more work on the internal frame. Spray doggie and leave to dry.
