With regard to copying media and files from phone to desktop tried a few apps including Wi-Fi Direct and now settled for Quick Share  – is good.

Select what you want to transfer, tap share and then your PC.

Awful video clip… I have enough trouble controlling one phone let alone two!

Microsoft Phone Link worked well but… could not multiple select! had to open each photo and the choose Save. How stupid is that!
