This purchase was delivered this morning.

About to remove the old blade which has been sharpened many times on the ALDI WorkZone Chain Saw Sharpener.

Problem – with the new blade installed and the tension screw fully screwed in the blade is still slack! Wondering if this new blade is one link to long?

Pulled the blade off and discovered the tension channel at the ‘increase tension’ end was clogged with saw dust and went unnoticed because it was stained with oil. Mounted the blade again and we were able to achieve correct tension – phew.

Need to do a few test cuts…

We will lop a few branches off this Hibiscus.

All good… saw is ready for the weekend working bee get together.
