Decided to combine the sensor unit, irrigation solenoid and impact sprinkler on a length of pine timber. The incentive for doing this is to deter a wandering cat that is now visiting us much too frequently at night; stalking our possums and nesting birds!

 
Made a box to hold the sensor unit and now making a base support for the timber stand.

Came up with a mental picture of the layout so here we have mounted the impact sprinkler and irrigation solenoid.

For now we will just cable tie everything.

Clamped the thing to the carport fence. I’ll leave the camera running to catch any action… like a very surprised (wet) cat.
