Postie delivered the order for 3 x USB – RGB LED strip lights with RF controllers!

Controller looks different to the battery version but has the same functions.

This is the exciting bit, no longer do I have to fiddle around mounting the IR controller so the receiver pokes up in the middle of his head for line-of-sight to the remote – see ;ast photo.

The RF controller can now be mounted in such a way to be completely hidden where’s the IR controller photo receiver diode had to stick up in the middle of the bat hear for line of sight.

This part of the build is a bugger, looping the strip around and over the top of the IR receiver which itself sits up off the MDF. The RF controller will be turned the other way, mounter lower down and the connector wires won’t have to do two U turns – in theory happy with that.
