Meadowbrook Mansion – replacing rotten weather boards (final)

Last post for this job, 2nd coat done and we are done. Next job is to repair/replace the weatherboards under the side balcony window but that won’t be till next week cos we have a hot spell coming up for the next four days.

We can tick this one off the job list…(y)
Next week we start this balcony window job and something tells me there is something funny going on here ??? This side of the house dosen’t get any sun and not much weather, the right side of these boards are rotting but the left side is not to bad and…further down the longer dining room weatherboards are all OK

Hmm…I suspect we have a water problem between this end of the boards and the brickwork.
