I the last session we made the frame for the lower hinged wheel cover which will also serve as a dust extraction box.

Now we can measure and cut another MDF board which we be the actual front panel of the box. Just entered a note in OneNote to buy some more 3mm MDF.

Finish cutting to size and begin to glue and tack the panel to the frame.

Line it up and fit two hinges, that worked out well.

Pondered for a while about a cover lock and came up with the idea to use a small bracket screwed to the side of the cover frame and a pivot arm lock.

Looking at what I just did decided to also make a full cover for the upper wheel.
