14” Bandsaw – Saw stand 3

From the last related session with the stand on the floor (with castors) I could see that it ended up to high and needs to be lowered – say 100-150mm.

Not to worry – I’ll just lower the boards so the top edge is 33mm from the underside of the stand top.

Simply working my way around and again using that extended C Clamp. I’ll get a second one from my tool guy at the market. They cost $19.50.

Cut off the ‘legs’ with a hand saw.

Nearly done, screw on the castors.

That looks better. As I said the saw is heavy but was easy to slide over onto the stand. When I clean up I’ll return the low table to the downstairs rumpus room. Who knows…might go looking for it again in a few years to build – another bandsaw.

…and from the back.

That’s it for today, gotta go shower, eat and rest before we go to a Australia Day BBQ later in the afternoon.
