From the previous related post on this with the lamp fitted into the front of the can we can now make the base.

Marked out the base on a piece of MDF.

Over to the 8” bandsaw to cut out the base. a usual make the relief cuts around the circumference.

Now over to the belt & disk sander to clean it up.

Perfect fit…next session is to make that lamp holder base.
