Skateboards are a source for bearings, two per wheel gives you eight 608 bearings – 22mm OD/8mm ID

Bought two skateboards from Kmart for $10 each and when I pulled one apart discovered that they have a bloody flange on them! I’ll return the other one for a refund and try one of the other stores.

For 8” wheels they might be to small to handle the loads. Took a while to work how to mount a pair of them on a 17mm Melamine bandsaw wheels – let’s see how they go.
