Hard to find a ‘normal’ TV in the 55″ – 58″ range, SMART TV’s are all the rage now and they are basically giant tablets – I want to watch TV on a TV. Was looking at the Soniq S55V14B 55″ Full HD Smart LED-LCD TV (giant tablet) but on startup go’s to a Cinevision Home screen full of adverts. Not Googleapproved not Playstored – pass. Moved on to the Hisense TV’s but after browsing their Facebook page full of pissed off people – another pass. So…we are now looking at TCL. Harvey Norman has the TCL 55″ Full HD LED LCD Slim TV L55B3800F for $695. They come with a 3 year in-home warranty – not bad.

And…it’s a dumb TV !!!
