Purchased this from Radio Parts in East Malvern about 4 years ago. Excellent unit with bug-free firmware. One of my first jobs was to dub all the VHS home videos to DVD; took a couple of months and consumed 22 DVD’s. I have this DVR connected to the Foxtel STB. The front panel Firewire gets a lot of use; just connect the Canon camcorder, dub to HDD and edit as needed and high speed dub to DVD.
