The blade (cutting area) is quite close to the front of the table so I decided to make a fold down extension table. The table extension is from Laminate flooring.

 Making the upper blade holder from a bit of flooring laminate.

After redesigning the lower blade holder I pulled the whole thing apart to refine some of the parts. Looks like a IKEA flat pack.

Redesigned the lower blade clamp. Lower blade clamp Version 1.0 did not work out. The blade comes loose and the squashed bracket clamp fouls the jigsaw blade guide.
