I retired in July 2010 after working in the education sector for 33 years as a technical office and the latter part of that a Information Systems Consultant. Previous to this I worked in the private section after coming out of RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology).

 

 

 

Located in the South East suburbs of Melbourne (Australia) and since last year, after 20 years of helping with the kids horses, we can now fully enjoy our retirement.

 

 

 

We have always had lots of domestic pets but the numbers have dropped in the last few years (we are all getting older), we still have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit – and chickens. Backyard chooks is one of my hobbies along with woodworking and practically all the tech stuff.

UPDATE 2020:
Pet count is now 2 dogs and 2 chickens.

UPDATE May 2021:
Pet count is now 2 dogs and 1 chicken.

Update Feb 2026:
Pet count is now 2 cats
