The Pod Project – 9

Another late start but I have refined the procedure steps from gravel bed to checking that the bubble is inside the lines which should speed things up with less energy input.

We are doing the back right pad and using the poly roofing sheet to ensure things are square.

This way…

And that way.

Distance between base frame front bearer to back should be 2100cm – that’s good.

Adding spacer blocks until we are level with the front corner block gives us some idea how many pavers are needed minus gravel depth of about 35mm.

I worked out with 35mm gravel base we needed four pavers and when I plonked the block on top we should be pretty close to level.

The bubble was to the right indicating pad was a bit high so I wiggled the whole thing a few times to bed down a bit more in the gravel bed and we are good.
