After 25 years we quit backyard chooks last August and since then the chook area has been standing there like a relic from the past and this year I started storing stuff in there. We have decided to get a backyard Pod as a stay over for family and friends so the chicken annex needs to be dismantled to make room. The actual chook run will remain and be converted to a covered patio area.

To get started I am removing the chook annex and the veggie boxes including the shade mesh.

Someone needs somewhere to park this pod which is 5M x 2.4M so it will need to be dismantled and transported to our place.

I decided to first remove this section of the chook run wire mesh so it will be easier to move around.

We’ll  will start at the front of the annex.

Remove the garden arch along with it’s creepers.

Remove all the cables and lighting from the annex.

The Wi-Fi Annex camera was removed  a while ago.

Including CCTV cables.
