Erratic operation and then the lights would not turn on when power was turned off and then on.

The PIR sensor must be faulty.

No point trying to fix that.

Ordered one off eBay for $13 bucks.

There will be some fiddling required to adapt that onto the base.

Wiring in the new sensor.

With that done ready to check operation.

Off to do some garden work now…
