Cat stairwell barriers – Version 2.0

Completely removed everything that was there and replaced with a safety net, more specifically plastic barrier mesh.

The revised… or rather completely rebuilt cat stairwell safety solution.

I removed everything except for the original plastic barrier mesh around the bottom of the hand/stair rails. The main purpose of that besides cats was to prevent little Gipsy (Chihuahua) with failing eyesight wandering between the rails and over the edge – into space.

Now we are doing the cat net thing using some of the barrier mesh.

Looking down towards the stair landing.

Standing on the edge of the landing I am 6’2″ and net height is about 7 feet. Kitties are now jumping off wardrobes and wall units that height so there should be no issues.

Stepping off the landing I don’t have to stoop!

That’s all folks…
