Anticipating his afternoon visit I moved the stand feeder down onto the driveway close to the balcony feeders. As posted a few weeks ago I made a 2 bowl platform feeder that’s positioned below the balcony window.
Hanging from that is the traditional hanging feeder. The latter has not been used in the front yard since the Xmas tree was removed (no branches).
He’s here… I’ve been lying in wait for him, hiding but not to attack.
In order to entice him to the balcony feeder I made sure the stand feeder was nearly empty. He’s showing some interest…
Yay
There’s more… he also checked out the platform feeder clever lad!
To reiterate the sole objective here is to avoid having to respond (wherever I am) every time ET yells out ‘Bluey is here… can you feed him!’.
We’ll do the same thing for a few days and then I’ll hide the stand feeder and hopefully he’ll go straight to the balcony feeders
